Voted #1 Place to Stay in Glacier Bay on TripAdvisor

“The Bear Track Inn is the best home-away from home we’ve ever stayed in. The hospitality, overall environment, staff, food were wonderful. We hope to return one day to enjoy it further and to explore more of the area. Happy travels to all.”

“Chefs cooked deliciously fresh 5 course meals and breakfasts. Lodge clean and relaxing. Staff goes out of way to make each party’s visit special. They provided gear for us to use in the rain and bikes to ride. Our 4 days were magical.”

Our Reviews

  • “TWhat a beautiful way to experience Gustavus AK. The lodge is very comfortable, food is excellent. The best part is the amazing staff who take care of everything. We went on a boat tour of Glacier Bay National Park and went fishing. All we had to do is show up. Thanks Michelle, David and team for a great time.”

  • “Truly an amazing place to take in the beauty of nature. The fishing is amazing, views of the whales and sea lions, hiking trails, and all the cool comforts of the lodge are amazing. Have been able to enjoy the inn for 2 years in a row and when I think of Alaska I couldn’t think of any other place to stay.”

  • “From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. Michelle, Dave and their staff are friendly, attentive and informative. The inn is beautiful, well maintained and located on 97 acres. Rooms are large, comfortable and have a great view.
Food offerings were varied and delicious. We went on 3 excursions. Ticketing and transportation were set up by the Inn and everything went smoothly. The excursions were great.
A great time in a great place which we hope to visit again.”
